While I tend to gravitate to salty snacks, lately my sweet tooth has been out of control – I just want a little something sweet after dinner (ok, lets me honest, throughout the day). But, I also wanted to find something that would be semi-healthy and not have to be a huge serving. I also enjoy those fancy expensive chia seed drinks, but, don’t want to spend the money, and, really, it’s the texture of the chia seeds that I want to have more in my life! I played around a little bit and figured out this super simple recipe for a pudding (that I may also drink like its chocolate milk).
¼ Cup Chia Seeds
3 heaping teaspoons Cacao Powder
1/8 Cup Agave
¾ Cup Almond Milk
Mix Chia Seeds, Cacao Powder and Agave in the bottom of a mason jar then fill with Almond Milk, cover and shake to mix.
Place in refrigerator for several hours and then mix again – I like to let it sit in the refrigerator again overnight to really hydrate the Chia Seeds.
