Mozzarella Marinara

One of my favorite Kosher restaurants isin Los Angeles. The food is delicious and full of comfort and the experience was always enhanced by the late owner, Leah Adler, mother of Steven Spielberg who would come and visit will all the guests. This dish was inspired by one that is served at Milky Way – it’s a quick and easy one that can be enhanced by adding vegetables, and is loved by all ages. I also find it a great way to use up ingredients that I frequently use in the kitchen.

Marinara Sauce Sliced Bread (my preference is leftover halla) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Preheat oven to 350.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.

Layer sliced bread on top of the marinara sauce.

Cover bread with more marinara sauce (I tend to like extra sauce in my dishes, so add as much as makes you happy).

Cover sauce with shredded mozzarella.

Bake until top starts to brown.
